Natural cleansers do not contain chemicals that make the skin and hair soft, so during the first use, you may be surprised that the hair ends become slightly porous. Cleansers are never enough on their own for treating dry skin! Cleansers are designed for cleaning the skin, so they cannot perform a moisturizing or regenerating function; no cleanser can do that! If the skin is dry and requires extra hydration, the use of a mask is essential.
Shampoos and cleansers are general concentrates, which means they need to be diluted when used on the skin. Dilute 10-15 ml (depending on the hair length when used as a shampoo) in an applicator with 50-80 ml of water and clean your skin and hair twice in a row.
Cleansers should never be pre-mixed in the applicator and used multiple times. Pre-mixed products can only be used for up to 24 hours since they do not contain preservatives. After 24 hours, the mixed materials can separate, oils can precipitate, and bacteria can multiply on the plastic surface. Therefore, it is not recommended to use pre-mixed products.
In general, foaming cleansers, especially those used on the face, should be avoided on the body, as they overdry the skin and negatively affect sebum production. However, Oxygeni Hair Silk Wash is sulfate-free, and a special plant enzyme helps the product foam, so it does not dry out or cause irritation. It can be confidently used for washing the body and face, as a shower gel, or makeup remover.
