Important information about shampoos in general

Natural shampoos and washes do not contain chemicals that would soften the skin and hair. It may be surprising that the ends of the hair might be slightly more porous after the first use of the product. This is perfectly compensated with a natural hair mask that makes the skin soft and the hair easy to comb while simultaneously caring for the hair ends. Our products work together in a unique system and synergy therefore it is important to always use the appropriate Oxygeni Hair & Skin masks and creams in combination with Oxygeni Hair & Skin washes and shampoos!

One moisturizing shampoo is never enough to fully treat a dry scalp! Shampoos are used to clean the scalp, so they cannot fulfill a moisturizing or regenerating function. If the scalp is dry and needs extra hydration, it is essential to use a scalp mask. You can find the recipe for these under the “How to use it” paragraphs.

Our washes are general concentrates, therefore it is necessary to dilute them before use. Dilute 10-15 ml of Hydrate Wash (depending on hair length) in the applicator then clean your hair twice in a row.

The cleanser mixes should never be premixed in advance or used after the mix has been staying in the applicator for a long time. Premixed masks and mixes should only be used for 24 hours after they’ve been mixed, as they do not contain preservatives. After 24 hours, the mixed materials may separate, the oils may precipitate, and bacteria may multiply on the plastic surface. To avoid this, mix the recommended products freshly and use them right away.

Cleansers are generally to be avoided on the body – especially foaming cleansers used on the face, as they dry the skin and negatively affect sebum production.

Oxygeni Hair Hydrate wash is free of sulfates and a special plant enzyme helps the product to foam, so it does not dry out the skin or cause irritation. It can be safely used to wash the body and face, as a shower gel or makeup remover.

The product is recommended for dry, irritated, dandruff-prone skin and hair, and can also be used by expectant mothers and babies!

• Basic recipe – for dry scalp and hair treatment, dilute 10-25 ml (depending on hair length) of Hydrate Wash with 50-100 ml water (depending on hair length) in the applicator and distribute evenly on the scalp. Mix enough for two washes and use it twice in a row. After washing your hair, use the Oxygeni Hair mask suitable for your hair type.
• For extra dry and inflamed scalp, add 2-3 drops of oil to 10-20 ml of shampoo (depending on hair length) and add 10 ml of Pure Aloe Vera product, mix with 40-80 ml of water in the applicator, rinse thoroughly after two washes.
• For extra dry scalp and hair or to treat scalp inflammation resulting from dryness, it is always necessary to use a scalp mask after washing your hair. Add 3-5 drops of Med Oil or Hydrate Oil to 10-20 ml of a hair mask (depending on hair length) and 10 ml of Pure Aloe Vera or 5 ml of Aloe Vera gel. Massage into the scalp then rinse thoroughly after 5-10 min.

• Hydrate Wash can be used as a make-up and face wash. Apply 2-3 pumps of the product to wet skin and rinse thoroughly.
• It can also be used as a shower gel or as part of a baby bath to care for dry, sensitive skin.  Apply a few pumps to your skin or add it to the bath water. Rinse thoroughly.
• For the care of seborrhea, eczema, and psoriasis caused by dry skin, mix 5 ml of Hydrate Wash with 3-5 drops of Med Oil and 5 ml of Pure Aloe Vera and use as a shower gel or wash, or as a baby bath.
